Reddit user chesepuf shared a video they created with the community that shows just how impressive Link’s flurry rush attack is. In a previous video, theLegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomfan discovered that the flurry rush attack slows down time to one-twentieth of normal speed. Based on this, chesepuf sped up the attack by 20x to showcase just how fast Link’s attack looks in real-time. The results were astonishing, as Link was essentially moving too quickly for the human eye to see. Now, the detailed gamer has returned to test the ability even further.

Chesepuf tests Link’s flurry rush ability with different weapons and seemingly impossible distances to see just how far the attack can be stretched. Chesepuf found that Link is incredibly quick with a spear, attacking at 100 times per second. According to the Reddit user, this is faster than a hummingbird’s wings. They move on to test how far Link can lunge using the ascend ability right before a flurry rush attack. Through testing, the gamer discovers that Link can lunge at 260 m/s, which they calculate to be Mach 0.87. Of course, the results are best seen to be fully appreciated.
